Driving to Data
I'm catching up on some old issues of Library Hotline and I noticed a news item about New York residents now being able to access electronic databases with their driver's license. Out of curiosity, I did a quick search to see if any other states did the same thing. I found a total of three (including New York):
New York Online Virtual Electronic Library (NOVEL): http://www.novelnewyork.org/
Michigan Electronic Library (MEL): http://www.mel.org/screens/databasesubjects.html
NebraskAccess: http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/nebraskaccess/
Is it time for Ohio to get it in gear?
